News: Play Animal Crossing With StreetPass Manchester

Animal Crossing: New Leaf has now been released for nearly a week in the UK. so it's only right that StreetPass Manchester should be preparing their next meet-up.

The event promises an afternoon of fruit trading, Tom Nook heckling and joyful frolicking and it all takes place on June 29th 2013 between 11:30 and 16:30 at the Kyoto Lounge. Take a good look at their press release for more information...
Manchester, United Kingdom - 04/06/13 – StreetPass Manchester invites any and all 3DS fans to attend its fifth official StreetPass event, the Animal Crossing New Leaf StreetPass Event, on June 29th 2013 for an afternoon of fruit trading, Tom Nook heckling and joyful frolicking in Nintendo’s super cute game of life.
Hosted in Manchester’s premier gaming den the Kyoto Lounge - located on Grosvenor Street M1 7HE - the event will officially run from 11:30 until 16:30 with a number of competitions and events spread over the time to accompany the usual casual 3DS play.
Alongside house judging and art competitions in Animal Crossing New Leaf, StreetPass Manchester’s 2013 Mario Kart season continues with its third cup of the year; the Flower Cup. There are prizes up for grabs in all competitions.
The Kyoto Lounge’s big screens will be put to good use too. One screen will be used for Super Smash Bros. Brawl while the other will play host to an all-day Nintendo Land multiplayer extravaganza. Nip in for the pink puzzle pieces, stay for the games.
And games there will be. Monster Hunter fans are encouraged to attend for an afternoon of guild card swapping and HR boosting, while Kid Icarus fans should find new rivals and allies to trade weapon gems with. Then there’s Luigi’s Mansion 2 – how far can you climb up the Thrill Tower? There’s always someone looking for a spot of ghostbusting action.

Streetpass Manchester is part of StreetPassUK. Run by a small group of dedicated, independent Nintendo fans the group’s key focus is to organise and endorse regular social gatherings of 3DS players in Manchester.
